The character of an architectural object is defined by its aesthetic identity, expression of purpose and its method of construction. This project aims to define a relationship between the character of a container and the character of its contents.

The proposed design is a shed whose entire structure serves as the door, sliding back to reveal its contents. The exterior shell, which, despite it’s hefty appearing Tyvek shroud, is, by necessity, light and easily movable. The interior space, conversely, has an aesthetic identity of lightness despite being fixed in place.
